National Family Literacy Month is an opportunity for your family to bond and develop your child’s lifelong love for reading.
National Adoption Month brings awareness to adoption and emphasizes the value of lifelong family connections!
For the month of November, our SPARK and Children Services Hub teams have partnered to bring you two epic reading adventures with weekly themes and suggested books. Families who read at least one book from each category will be entered into a book giveaway the first week of December.
To enter, read one book per week with your child that aligns with a weekly theme from the National Adoption Month Reading Adventure or the National Family Literacy Month Reading Adventure. One entry per person will be accepted from November 1st through November 29th.
Action for Children will choose five participants at random for the National Adoption Month Reading Adventure to receive a copy of Far From the Tree by Robin Benway and five winners for the National Family Literacy Month Reading Adventure to receive a children’s book selected by the SPARK at Action for Children team.
